Ir. Sunny Lee is currently Vice-President (Administration) at City University of Hong Kong. Ir. Lee has more than 35 years of experience in business and technology management in Hong Kong and overseas. Over the last three decades, he has held a number of key C-level positions at major organizations including Hong Kong Jockey Club, Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited and Bank of America.
Ir. Lee also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of MTR Corporation Limited (0066.HK), BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited and SUNeVision Holdings Limited (1686.HK).
Ir. Lee is passionate in serving the community. He is currently Board Chairman of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, Chairman of Hong Kong Public Libraries Advisory Committee, Chairman of the HKMA IT Management Committee, Council Member of HK Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA), Council Member of Cornell University and Governor of the Canadian International School. He is a former President of Hong Kong Computer Society and Chairman of Hong Kong Education City.
Ir. Lee has received many public recognitions including the Asia CIO Award, China Top CIO Award and Hong Kong CIO Outstanding Achievement Award. He was a 2008 Beijing Olympics Torchbearer representing Hong Kong’s technology achievers.
Ir. Lee is a Distinguished Fellow of Hong Kong Computer Society and Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Engineers. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Cornell University. He was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2010 and was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star medal in 2022.
Peter Mok is the Head of the Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. Peter is responsible for steering HKSTP’s strategic direction and development in the Greater Bay Area. He is also accelerating joint efforts with stakeholders to promote innovation and technology.
Peter has over 30 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in technology commercialisation, corporate innovation, corporate merger and acquisition, venture capital investment, and C-Level executive recruitment. Prior to taking up his current role, he was the Head of Strategic Partnership and Incubation Programme, and set up a series of HKSTP start-up programmes, corporate venture fund, and corporate innovation initiatives.
Peter also serves as the Board of Director of Hong Kong Business Angel Network. He also served as the Board of Director of International Business Innovation Association (InBIA). Peter holds a BA (Hons) degree from HKU, an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London, and an MBA from CUHK.
Mr Victor Lam Wai-kiu joined the Hong Kong Government as an Analyst/Programmer in August 1985, immediately after graduating from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Computer Studies.
As an information technology (IT) professional, Mr Lam has provided IT services to various government departments, including the Housing Department, the Customs and Excise Department, the former Trade Department and the former Information Technology Services Department. He took up the appointment as Government Chief Information Officer on 6 July 2018 to champion the development of information and communications technology, smart city and digital government in Hong Kong until he commenced his pre-retirement leave at the end of December 2022.
Mr. Nixon Chau is the Managing Director and General Manager of SenseTime Hong Kong. He has over 20 years of experience in business development across Canada, Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan markets.
Nixon is currently responsible for the overall thought leadership, go-to-market strategy and building C-suit client relationships with key accounts in Hong Kong. Prior to joining SenseTime, Nixon worked at Pivotal, SAP and Oracle.
Apart from his business endeavors, Nixon is passionate about building Hong Kong start-up ecosystem. He is the advisory board member of the CUHK Alumni Entrepreneurs Association (CUAEA) and fully supports the development of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Nixon holds an Executive MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia in Canada. He also participated Technology & Innovation Management Program at UC Berkeley. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Dr Crystal Fok is currently the Head of STP Platform at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). She is mainly responsible for various Innovation and Technology related initiatives in Science Park to drive technology adoption in industries, especially in Real Estate, Logistics, Banking & Finance and Healthcare sectors.
Prior to HKSTP, Dr Fok was a Manager at ASTRI, managing a diverse project portfolio, such as market analysis, feasibility studies, product development and technology commercialization. She was also a Consultant at the Hong Kong Productivity Council, managing the optical design team and providing consultancy service on precision manufacturing.
Dr Fok received her PhD degree in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from the CUHK and her research interests include A.I., Robotics, MEMs and micro-optics.
Gary, a young I.T. entrepreneur, graduated from Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) of Tsinghua University, and Electronic & Computer Engineering of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
As an entrepreneur, Gary started his own business when he was studying in HKUST. Since then, his keen interest in Internet has driven him to focus on Internet-related business and his dedication in the I.T. sector secures his success. He is now the Founder and CEO of Techture Limited, a Digital Agency providing integrated online to offline (O2O) solutions with a pool of PR and IT experts.
As the founding member and President of the Smart City Consortium (SCC), Gary has focused on developing electronic identification (eID) applications for both Chinese mainland and Hong Kong in recent years. With growing enthusiasm, unique business insight and cutting-edge technology, he is seizing the rare opportunity of China-Hong Kong Smart City development. He is also the guest host of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), Commercial Radio (CR), Metro Radio and Hoy TV. Apart from contributing to SCC, he also undertakes different professional roles such as Vice-President of Internet Professional Association, Vice-Chairman & Honorary Treasurer of Hong Kong Software Industry Association.
Last but not least, Gary is appointed by the HKSAR Government to serve as the Member of the Court of Hong Kong Metropolitan University, the Advisory Chairperson of the IT Discipline Advisory Board (ITDAB) of Vocational Training Council, the Member of the Advisory Board for Science Unit of Lingnan University, the Member of Common Spatial Data Advisory Committee of Lands Department of Development Bureau. He also founded Ma On Shan Youth Association in 2007. The Association is a Registered Charitable Organization which currently operates two social enterprises.
Gary received the “Young Leader Award” from the Harbour Junior Chamber in 2008 and was awarded the Medal of Honour from the HKSAR Government in 2017. Both awards acknowledge his significant outstanding achievement and contribution to the Hong Kong community.
Molly Cheung is the Senior Manager of Strategic Planning, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation. Molly is responsible for the formulation of business strategies and tactics, and planning and execution of business plans to drive cross-border technology collaboration. Since joining HKSTP, she has been highly involved in the I&T community building, youth & incubation development, and academia engagement. She also assisted technology ventures in business expansion in different countries.
She has been involved in the innovation and technology industry for over 10 years with a demonstrated history of serving both multinationals and public bodies.
Professor Francis Chin received his B.A.Sc. degree from the University of Toronto in 1972, and his M.S., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Princeton University in 1974, 1975, and 1976, respectively. He is a Fellow of IEEE, HKIE and HKACE. He was the Chair of the Department of Computer Science and Taikoo Professor of Engineering at HKU, joined HKU in 1985 and was the founding Head of the Department from its establishment until December 31, 1999. He had served as an Associate Dean of the Graduate School from 2002 to 2006 and the Faculty of Engineering from 2007 to 2014. He is now the Emeritus Professor of the University of Hong Kong.
Professor Chin has served as the Chairman of the Process Review Committee under the Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance and a member of Hong Kong Museum Expert Advisor (Science & Technology), Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Business Incubation Panel of HK Science & Technology Parks, Information Infrastructure Advisory Committee of ITBB/OFTA, the Applied Research Council and the first (interim) CEO of the Hong Kong Domain Name Registration Company Limited.
Professor Chin has served as conference chairman and a member of the program committee of numerous international workshops and conferences. He has served as Managing Editor of the International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science and on the editorial boards of journals. Professor Chin received the HKU Teaching Best Teaching, Teaching Excellence Award and Outstanding Research Award in 1991, 2000 and 2010 respectively. Professor Chin with his bioinformatics team has won the RECOMB 2022 Test-of-Time Award based on the impact of their RECOMB2010 IDBA paper. He is also listed within the World’s Top 2% Scientists published by Stanford University in October 2022.
Nelson is a serial entrepreneur, the Founding CEO and Director of EP Venture Limited, a business
strategy consultancy, and Appetizup Company Limited, an ESG consultancy. He provides advisory
services to transform start-ups, public organizations, and private firms into efficient and sustainable
businesses, with a focus on green energy, electronic commerce, and technology to improve
business models. Nelson is also the Founding President of Unleash Foundation, an NGO that
emphasizes social empowerment through education, and the Founding President of the China
Hong Kong Culture Exchange Association, an NGO that promotes inclusion through cross-cultural
exchange.
China Hong Kong Cultural Exchange Association is committed to provide a platform for cultural
exchange between Hong Kong and international through organizing a wide variety of programs.
The Association also contributes in discovering talents and nurturing incubation projects in the
Greater Bay Area. It also established a collaborative and cooperative platform for professions from
different fields to improve communication and get inspired from each other, then lead to a stage

Nelson has also served in trade industries and IT committees of various government and non-
government bodies, focusing on consultancy services for technological and sustainable business
practices, other government statutory bodies as member of board of directors as well as
Independent Non-Executive Directors in Listing Companies in Hong Kong.
Nelson was also a Torch Bearer in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a recipient of the HKSAR
Government’s Medal of Honor in sports promotion for disabled athletes in 2011. Nelson’s story is
about resilience, not disability. Nelson graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a
bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Computer Science and a master’s degree in Business
Administration. He also holds a master’s degree in Quantitative Analysis in Business from the City
University of Hong Kong from there he was conferred an Honorary Fellow in 2011. He serves as an
honorary lecturer in various local Universities and was awarded Lion Rock Entrepreneur Awarda in
2014 as well as was conferred a Honorary Fellow from Lingnan University in October 2021.
Emil is a FinTech evangelist with over 20 years experience in managing IT and business transformation projects in international financial institutions. He had worked for several sizeable international banks including Credit Suisse and BayernLB as the roles of First Vice President, Head of IT in Asia Pacific, Project Director and Operations Manager AP. He has extensive experience in both Business and IT consulting encompassing the design, setup, leading and managing of cross-border projects throughout Asia. He is the adjunct professor, visiting lecturer as well as advisor of various departments of local universities including HKU, PolyU, CityU, Hang Seng U, Lingnan U and VTC.
In the past 10 years, he participated actively in voluntary community services in related to popular adoption of technology. He is the Founding Chairman of the Association of Cloud and Mobile Computing Professionals, The FinTech Committee Chairman of the Smart City Consortium, Hon. Secretary and Board Member of Invotech, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association, Supervisory Committee Member of iProA and the Honorary Chairman of StartHK. He is a mentor of the HK Cyberport Mentors Network, Guangzhou CP-Nest Incubator of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chief Judge of the HK ICT Startup Award 2019. Prof. H. Anthony Chan (Fellow of IEEE) began industry research at the former AT&T Bell Labs in 1986, moved to academia in 2003 as professor at University of Cape Town to transform the telecom curriculum and research to align with industry developments, then joined Huawei Technologies in USA in 2007 to conduct research and standards work in 5G Wireless, future Internet and machine learning. He joined Caritas Institute of Higher Education to lead the School of Computing and Information Sciences in 2019 to build up research and curriculum competency in AI and strategically high-impact areas. The School has since recruited several AI experts including research Prof. Wan Chi SIU, an IEEE Live-Fellow. The team had made successful RGC grant applications including “Establishment of Distributed AI lab for interdisciplinary research,” “Creating an Automatic Football Commentary System with Image Recognition and Cantonese Voice Output,” and multiple FDS grants in AI each year. The School had begun offering a comprehensive AI curriculum in a BScAI degree program in 2020 and added a comprehensive metaverse curriculum in its BSc in Digital Entertainment Technology in 2023. Prof. Chan had authored/co-authored over 250 journal/conference papers, a research handbook, 5 book chapters, and 30 US patents. He was a Distinguished Speaker of IEEE Communication Society, IEEE Reliability Society, and IEEE CPMT Society, respectively. He had delivered 20 keynotes/invited talks and over 44 tutorials and short courses at international conferences.
ProfessorChan Sin-wai is Dean of the Ip Ying To Lee Yu Yee School of Humanities and Languages, Caritas Institute of Higher Education, President of the Association for TranslationTechnology, and was a member of the Translation Technology Committee of the International Federation ofTranslators (FIT).
He received his Bachelor of Arts from The ChineseUniversity of Hong Kong and his doctorate from the School of Oriental and African Studies,University of London.

Ping WONG was formerly the Market Officer of the Southeast Asia Desk and later Deputy Director at the Beijing Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) after his graduation from University of Pittsburgh with a Master Degree of Public and International Affairs. Raymond Chan is now CEO & Director of Metaverse Securities Limited and Lion

first appointed as Managing Director of Ether Global (formerly known as 9F
International) in October 2018 and is responsible for applying financial and virtual
bank licenses in Hong Kong, Singapore, Lithuania and China. He is also responsible
for “Tech Enabling” businesses in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia markets. In
October 2019, Raymond was also appointed the General Manager of Niche Global

Raymond is well-known as the founder of the first virtual banking, inMotion of CITIC Bank International,

The team primarily serves the brands and events industry, as well as specializes in creating digital user experience for the automobile industry.
One of the signature solutions is EF-Portal, which is basically an AI digital human solution presented in hologram that users can interact with.
Queenie has also initiated Creating Shared Value (CSV) internally and actively led all teammates and partners collectively contributing to tech talent cultivation through the provision of STEAM courses and VR learning experience.
